Abseiling

Introduction

They say what goes up must come down and what better way to get to ground level than by abseiling down our purpose built abseiling tower.

Abseiling is the controlled descent of a vertical drop using a rope. Historically climbers have used this technique when a rock face is too steep to descend any other way; however at Moor House Adventure Centre abseiling is just another fun activity, offering an exciting and challenging experience to participants.

Abseiling is a great way to help improve confidence and esteem whilst overcoming fears and developing an understanding of safety systems.

Session Overview

After an initial safety briefing participants will be given an in depth introduction to the equipment they will be using during the session.

Participants will then receive demonstration before moving on to the activity where they will be instructed throughout.
