Climbing

Introduction

Take on our 20’ or 40’ purpose built climbing tower an try and make it to the top. With a variety of available routes of increasing difficulty to attempt climbing provides you with continuous challenge and reward. The activity provide the ideal opportunity to develop confidence and team building, planning skills, stamina and perseverance, whilst learning basic climbing skills and techniques under the guidance of our qualified instructors.

As a progressive activity there is scope to develop core skills and attempt more challenging routes, develop technique and ability.

 

Session Overview

After an initial safety briefing participants will be given an in depth introduction to the equipment they will be using during the session. The instructor will then fit climbing helmets and safety harnesses before giving some final words of advice. Participants are then supported throughout their climb.

Duration: 1.5 hours

Staff to Participant Ratio: 1 : 12

Location: Indoor or Outdoor

Age Range: 3+  (KS0)
