Forest schools training

Our Forest School courses will give you all the training you need to deliver outdoor learning sessions in your school or nursery.

National Governing Body qualifications

Become qualified to teach the activity you love. We work with a number of partners to offer National Governing Body qualifications in activities such as archery, rifle shooting and climbing.

Consultancy

The team at Moor House is made up of experienced outdoor education practitioners, and between us we’ve accumulated a lot of knowledge over the years.

We can provide consultancy services on a whole range of outdoor learning projects. Whether you’re designing your own learning outside the classroom environment, developing an outdoor education programme or planning a fundraising abseil, we can help.

Climbing Wall Instructor Training
The Climbing Wall Instructor qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on purpose built artificial climbing walls and boulders. It is ideal for people who work at climbing walls or at venues with permanent or mobile climbing towers.

NSRA Air Pistol Shooting Tutor’s Diploma (18+)
This two day course covers the law, range requirements, personal skills, maintenance and developmental techniques for leading air rifle sessions. Participants will leave with a Youth Proficiency Scheme qualification from the National Small-bore Rifle Association.
