Transition days
The progression from primary school to secondary school can be a time of anxiety, self-doubt and concern for both the pupil and their parent. Our transition day programmes are designed to help make this journey a much less stressful experience.
Year 6 pupils are given the opportunity to meet Year 7 pupils from their new school in a supportive and inclusive environment, helping to build relationships, trust and confidence.
The specialist programmes also allow key teaching staff to engage with new pupils and initiate relationships whilst at the same identifying potential mentors.
